An exciting new initiative established by the State Library of Western Australia working in partnership with the State Library of WA Foundation.  The Mining & Energy WA Archive will hold and preserve the important Western Australian records of the development of the minerals and energy industries, including social and cultural histories, building contemporary materials onto existing material held by the State Library of Western Australia.  Click here for More information...

Kay Poustie Scholarship 2016 – To be announced at the Library Information Week Awards Ceremony on May 30th.

The Kay Poustie Scholarship provides a travel grant of up to $5,000 for a library professional in Western Australia to undertake international research in innovative library services and practice that can be applied to the benefit of public libraries in WA.
